Police have named one of the people killed when a police helicopter crashed into a pub in Glasgow as 48-year-old Gary Arthur.

Rotten luck doesn't even begin to describe it eh? Jesus, they went out for a pint and a laugh with mates and a * helicopter comes through the roof. That seriously has to be one of the most peculiar ways to die, beyond the ridiculous which just adds to the sadness of the situation. Crazy stuff.

Thoughts and prayers of everyone at Celtic

EVERYONE at Celtic Football Club is shocked and saddened following the terrible accident in Glasgow on Friday night.

A helicopter crashed into a city pub, The Clutha Bar in the city´s Stockwell Street, which was packed with people enjoying a night out. Tragically, there are reports of fatalities, with many more people treated in Glasgow hospitals for injuries.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Celtic are with all of those affected by this dreadful incident.

It is difficult to describe it actually. It was a freak and tragic accident. I know it is a cliche but those injured/killed were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Did anyone see the 2 sisters interviewed on Sky saying they were in Candleriggs and walked 15/20 minutes before getting a taxi to The Clutha. Candleriggs is at most a 5 minute walk away.

Naw Sean these two "birds" didn't look like they'd get ripped of by a taxi. If you get my drift. :smiley-laughing002:

l don't mate, l was being sarcastic. l just thought they were a couple of attention seekers getting their five minutes of fame when Sky could have been interviewing people more worthy of it.
