There's a lot of * stupid in this thread.

It's not about the banner per se, it's about the fact that some idiots think they have rights on private property.

    They * don't.

    It's not * rocket science.

For the club, for the fans, for sticking up and being a beacon against discrimination for 120 odd years. For the clubs roots, for it's beautiful history, for it being the club that done the right thing in a bigoted backwater, for the charitable roots for everything about the club that the board is now trying to rip apart.

For the reasons that Xavi admires us, for the passion of the fans, for the music, for the unity, for something that you looked at and think I can be proud of that.

For the community. For the people. For the reasons that Tommy Burns stated.

    Why do you support us?

It hasn't stopped me supporting my team but it has resulted in me becoming slightly fed up with a section of the Celtic support.

You basically slagged off the entire away support there.

A rousing Irish rebel song would lift the team better than 'We love you celtic we do' I'd wager.

But we live in a world where you can have both.

It isn't something that can be ripped apart. The history will always be there. We are the same club we were then. It is just a different era now. Every football club is going through the same process.

So you felt that their banners were ramming their belief down your throat. I have attended numerous games against the deadco but never felt that their beliefs were rammed down my throat even though they also displayed banners and flags. Perhaps you are easily influenced by what you see.

They're spitting on that history. They are disrespecting it and they are becoming part of what we have strived against since before the club was born. They raping it and it * disgusts me.

No, a section. I seem to get on fine with the majority of the Celtic support believe it or not.

Doubt it. The Celtic Song will be the most inspiring.

Most of our players won't give a * or know about rebel songs.

My family has supported Celtic for more than 100 years, it's ingrained.

A club founded with the best of intentions by a great man to help people in need. It's grown to become one of the world's finest sporting institutions supported by millions across the world from all walks of life, an inclusive club.

Plenty have posted in this thread and not many of them seem to be on Lawell's side.

So, basically your whole post that was concluded by this : "I just want to go and support my team" is a moot point then?

If you want to "just go and support your team" no one is stopping you. If you don't like banners, you don't have to look at them. Simples.

A majority are in the 'yes' camp that this thread has or did you miss the standing ovation to the H banners on the weekend?

Not inclusive anymore, you're arguing the point just now that it shouldn't be inclusive.
