I don't think most would have said he would make it, said back then he would be a pointless signing. But he never banged them in so like I said waste of money, wish we gave a youth player a chance.

No I think that Ronny was announced on the 6th of July and Gordon was the 8th/9th officially. Ronny signed the dotted line before Craig did, so he okay-ed it.

 

Think most people back then said Lenny knew what he was doing, he had a good long look at him on trial and signed him on the basis that he was going into the first team. It disn't work out but that's the gamble you take at those prices.
