This Ajax team are no class act of previous ajax teams. They are on a losing streak, think they have won 1 outa last 5. That, though, could play against us. I think if we keep our shape, play to our stengths then we can see this out with a victory.

    Ajax 0-1 Celtic

Did they *! Passing it along your back line isn't dominating your opponent so don't talk utter * pish, man. It was the most comfortable we'd been at that level for many, many years. Spartak were more of a threat last season as they actually played the ball beyond their centre-halves & goalkeeper.

Their consolation goal, and that's all it was, came from a daft sending off. 11 players on the pitch, we'd have come away with a clean sheet.

    * "a draw or a 1-0 loss". We'll win it & we'll win it well. 2-0 to the Hoops. Doesn't matter what results we pull off, it's back to square one before every match in Europe in terms of negativity. Ajax were average... really average. Maybe on par with Spartak Moscow, maybe not even that good. If we can't beat them, we probably don't deserve to qualify for the last 16. Likewise Milan at home.

Our last two games have been a narrow 1-0 loss to Barça with 10 men & a 2-1 win over Ajax with 10 men. 2-0 greatly flattered Milan at the San Siro. We could easily be on 5/6/7/9 points already but for fine margins. And we've done that with what is essentially last year's squad - minus our top goalscorer, a world class midfielder & our best centre-half - & Virgil Van Dijk. We're undefeated in the league.

Ajax got pummelled by Barcelona, drew with Milan & lost to a 10 man Celtic side. Ajax have one win in five.

    We're better than Ajax.

They will come all out attack this week as well. I think we will pick them off quite easy. They can pass it around their backline well but they're rather * up front. We should go with the 3 in midfield and close them down a lot quicker when they do try to go up the field up a bit. I am extremely confident we will win this. Lenny's teams have always looked better set up for away games

This is the team that I would like to see start but reckon Ledley will start, not sure who will get left out. No reason why we can't get a win over there, quietly confident of getting a result. Beat them and that should be at least 3rd spot in the group guaranteed whilst also setting up the Milan tie nicely going for 2nd !! Can't wait

Both teams are coming off lacklustre domestic results. At least Celtic got a point, though. Ajax got beat at home by a surging Stichting Betaald Voetbal Vitesse (Yes! Go FC Hollywood aan de Rijn, or whatever it says on Wikipedia!) club this past weekend. They'll be looking to bounce back in a big, big way.

Having a few key players back will definitely help both clubs.

    Play for the 3 points.

Not a chance, just cause they had a wee bit more possession does not mean they dominated. We were more than comfortable in that game.Ajax were just a very * Barcelona.

Ajax did not dominate the game at Parkhead, well not where it mattered anyway. They dominated from a possession point of view, but we were happy to allow them to play it about at the back, as it wasn't hurting us. And they very rarely did that at any point during the game. They cut us open once if I remember correctly, the one where Serero played a nice one two and was through on goal.

I don't think either team really dominated the game though, and had the game finished a draw, I don't think either team could have complained. But the most important thing in football, we achieved twice, they didn't. And that was all there was between the teams in my opinion.

If we would have finished half our big chances we would have gotten away with a 4-2 win. Your goals were lucky goals, a penalty (stupid mistake by Denswil) and a weak deflected shot from outside of the box. I agree with you that Ajax did not do enough with their posession. That is, we should have created more chances. But I think we got enough chances to get away with the win, it's just that our strikers are horrible at the moment. We scored only 2 goals in the last 5 matches we played. Sigthorsson needs crosses, but Andersen and Fischer * everything up for us the last few matches. But something is telling me wednesday will be our turning point, I hope we play well and beat Celtic.
I also hope the stories about these * Feyenoord cockroaches coming to our city looking for trouble are not true, because it will be a * battlefield. But leave it to these * cockroaches to do stupid * like that. They haven't played European football for a long time because they are *, and now they want to get a piece of our action. If they do come, I hope they get their * heads smashed in, filthy scum.

Since when was an absolute stonewall penalty and a cool quality finish a lucky goal???

Your last couple of lines summed up what I already thought of you * anyway..
