I've only been at midweek games recently due to work & then never been there early enough to have time to check this out.
Taking a few friends from Singapore & Germany to the DUFC game on Sat.
What's the story with the Bar, is it a case of 1st come 1st serve?
How early do you need to be there to have a chance of getting in?
    What about after the game?
Do you just show your ticket?
    Is it any good?

    Cheers

Aye its good, massive bar with about 10/12 different areas serving, wee bookie desk in the corner, few, maybe 10 big tables to sit round, probably about 15 seats round them and then about 10 wee tables for 4/5 people to stand at.

You should be fine for getting in if you go really any time before the game, after the games people start queueing straight away, some people even leave 5/10 minutes early to get to the front of the queue. Nice and warm in it too.

You just show your ticket at the door.

From experience, to be guaranteed of getting in, you really need to be there by 1pm. We've pitched up at quarter past a couple of times and the queue has been down to the corner of the South Stand.

    Last orders is around 2:15.

It is worth the effort, though. Good pint, good food, football on the big screens and the bhoy on the guitar is very dcent.

Failing that , you could always try the Turnstiles bar just down the road. Where there is a delightful ambience, and fine dining is available in the way of a whole range of crisps and pork scratchings. Entertainment is laid on in the form of communal singing.
However, you may want to wait until you get to the ground to use the loo :97:

One of the best features is your semi-chilled beer becoming room temperature in a matter of seconds :50:

Coming from the South Side, i always thought Nuneaton industrial estate is a nice secluded spot to get a bottle of wine down yer neck if you're pressed for time, especially on European nights :icon_mrgreen:

Don't really see the point in knocking places like that. They have served a prupose for years and will continue to do so until knocked down. Would always prefer going to the Vaults than Kerrydale Bar but each to their own.

The best place to be going to is the CSA Social Club.

I hope you got there early, the place was full at 1230 and they were only letting folk in as others came out.

We must be making an absolute fortune from this.
