sorry for your loss bud.but do yourself the biggest favour and don't let the hurt put you off getting another dog.when my collie bess died of cancer I was devastated as well and I thought I will never get another dog again don't want to go through that again.and for three whole years I didn't and I missed her every day just about.until one of my friends posted pics of a litter of springer pups from a breeder in Hamilton and as soon as I saw them I thought I want one of them 600 quid or not had to get one.so I did best move I ever made. it doesn't mean you will forget cosmo you never will but it does ease the pain to have another pup to get to know and love.

Sorry to hear about Cosmos mate.

Some people just don't get it, but losing a beloved pet is just as painful as losing a member of the family.

    RIP :shamrock:

    I feel your pain mate!
Had Labs in the family most of my life, but my own personal Lab, when it was his turn, i couldnt do it, and had to get my old man to take him.
I couldnt face greetin' in the vets.....which i definitely would have done!

    Hi mate.

I also feel your pain. It really does hurt when you finally need to let go of your dog. Just need to remember that it comes to every single living creature on this planet. I made a thread when I had to get my dog put to sleep also ( http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?t=118559 ).

    All the best mate.

I've a Golden Retriever, almost the same family of dog as a lab. Honestly the best creatures on the planet, not a bad bone in their body. Day he goes will be the saddest day of my life so far :54:
