Celtic vs Barcelona (ITV. 7.30pm)

Very happy to see a very dangerous Barcelona when Messi is out of the lineup...Bodes well going forward...and on the nights Pedro is out of sync, sub Alexis in sooner - he changed the complexion of the match...Tello was the perfect sub after the goal...Great performance from my team and credit to Tata for preparing the team and gameplan as it was an encouraging signs of things to come

 

Nothing embarrassing about that result. They couldn't beat us until we went down to 10 men.

We're a proper Champ League team now, just got to take that on the chin and get on with it.

The Ajax games can't come quick enough now.

Scott brown is a disgrace for doing that..

We all know and saw that little sanddancing diving * roll round the floor the night why aim a kick with that incompetent * of a ref right behind who tonight was * abysmal..


Saying that we played well with the 10 and I'm proud of them..

Just really disappointed as we really could have got something tonight..

 

Lost a big bit of respect for barca AND brown. Dont know what the * went through is mind.

 

Good shift put in Celtic, grafted like *, if Broonaldo hadn't been carded off we might have pulled off another shocker. Onwards and upwards..must beat Ajax troops.

Unfortunately we had 2 great chances before they scored, Forrest was denied brilliantly, but Mulgrew probably should of scored. So * gutted. Broony was stupid to kick out, but * neymar is an embarrassment, the way he was rolling about holding his back was disgraceful, wouldn't really expect anything else from him though he was diving all over the shop. For all the talent he posseses which he clearly does, he really is a *.

 

Great performance Celtic. Outstanding effort, and a respectable scoreline. I'm just angry with our captain.

Brown let every single Celtic man and woman down tonight.

Besides that..

Forster.. what sort of black magic fuckery are you? Genius.
Samaras was top class.
Ambrose and Van Dijk were both excellent.

Izaguirre let us down with a total lapse of concentration at the back for their goal.

I am gutted of course but it was a magnificent performance.

 

Stupid from brown, thought the back 4 were immense as was big sammy.

 

How so? We didn't deserve a point from that match!

 

Well, what can we say?

We played magnificently, but didn't manage it. No surprise there. Brown's sending-off didn't change the game as much as it should have - in fact, I think it was our own substitutions (Forrest and Kayal) that threw us. We held together very well with ten men, especially defensively, but not long after Forrest and Kayal came on we were defensively sloppy enough to let in a very good Barca goal.

Either Barca aren't as good as people make them out, or we are far better than people make us out to be (including our own fans).

Just one last point: Neymar and Busquets. Neymar is a cynical, diving, "simulating" (we used to call them cheats and play actors), anti-footballer. That is of course rewarded in the game now. What disgusted me more was that every time the referee awarded a decision to Barca, Busquets was up in the ref's face trying to get a harsher decision. I am convinced that Brown would have got a yellow but for Busquets insisting on a red.

All in all, we cannot complain. We played well and so did they. I don't feel cheated, and who would have thought that we could hold out against Barca with only ten men?

Sammy MOTM - where wasn't he tonight? Outstanding.

Would have been better if Pukki had come on earlier.

 

Xavi would not have been sent off for doing what Scott Brown did. No chance.

 

Its not that bad All doom and gloom there with your post. Millan aren't that great and I think we have a great chance at home against them. Ajax is a must win at home and a point away is possible.
The next barcca game will be another tight game hopefully we take our chances.
Its far from over.
