    Anyone notice he scored again in yesterday's match against Roda JC?

    25 goals this season ... and counting. Finnbo has 3 more and will likely be worth considerably more.

    I want Celtic to sign this guy more than anyone I've ever wanted signed.

    I agree this would be a great signing. I've not long moved over to the U.S and i'm really surprised by some of the talent the MLS never mind the players abroad have to offer. It's definitely a market that should be looked at and it will further enhance our rep in America.

    I remember coming here years ago and there was never a football field in sight. Now they are everywhere and the youth setup up all the way through the schools is great.

    I know Celtic have there eye on things over here though

    I dont think there is much between Johannsson and Finbogasson. I think at the moment Alfred is a better player, he scores more, not alot more, but more. But Johannsson is 2 years younger and would cost less, I'd imagine. I hope we go for him, Finbo is out of our reach.

    Afraid we might have missed the boat on Johansson by not getting him in the summer, although it's not a foregone conclusion. If he wasn't an American rising star, I think we'd have a better shot- more teams will be interested simply from a marketing perspective.

    Top scorer in the Eredivisie last season Wilfried Bony went to Swansea for 12m after scoring 31 goals.

    2nd place last year was Graziano Pelle, who stayed with Feyenoord and is 2nd top scorer this year again- behind Finnbogason and ahead of Johannsson.

    Would have to expect Finnbo to go for something in the 10m region. Johannsson? Who knows.

    I would love for it to happen.
