What just happened?

 

I just arrived at the end of the game...but apparently we had 25 corners. And scored none. How that happened, is beyond me.

Playing 4-5-1 against Morton at home. Lenny's tactics get found out again

 

Majorly * off, it's a * disgrace in all honesty.

The treble is well within the realms of possibility, but no, this is Celtic. All too common now, struggling or getting beat off of diddy teams.

Never expected that. Never thought there was the smallest chance of that. No streams, either, so I don't even know how deserved it was (or not).

 

Waiting for the usual "We played well" comments.

 

Shock defeat for us but to be fair a deserved win for Morton and a thrilling match.

As so often, we were complacent and did not wake up to the reality of losing the game until it was too late.

Morton played tight, solid football and demonstrated great defensive skill. We, by contrast, simply did not have the attacking skill or determination necessary. We seemed to think that a goal would just happen and when in the last few minutes we actually started trying for one, it just wouldn't happen.

One positive is that all our new signings played well. Biton especially was MOTM for me, both Van Dijk and Pukki were also excellent.

Fair play to Morton. They'll remember this as one of their great nights, and we'll remember it (perhaps unfairly) as one of our worst.

 

Is it finished? At least Sammybobo will come back tonight, and Coatbridgebhoy.
