I predicted Scotland wouldnt reach the last 8 i hold my hand up i was wrong ..They have proved unbeatable ( How many scotland teams can say that at a world cup ??)
It will in honesty be a step too far friday palying the All Blacks ..i will be there supporting them though ..

Little side note ...there are only 3 unbeaten teams in the tournament so far

    Australia
    New Zealand
    And SCOTLAND

Im really proud of Steve McCormack and the Boys , good times :50:

I don't think so mate. I was supporting Ireland and need to be careful with my money until the end of the month. Hope you have a great day out though.

You know what it was a pleasure watching the Kiwis , they are huge and their running lines were awesome ..Scotland just couldnt keep with them , highlight of the night was broughs 40-20 kick then scoring off the resulting set , the whole place erupted ..Off to Wigan tonight to watch England / France , going to Samoa/Fiji tomorrow as well , i think that will be the best game of the whole last 8 :50:

Rugby League is a far faster game. Unlike Union where they all roll about on the floor cuddling each other in League if you get tackled you jump up and get on with it. Noreal scrums and mauls. You run until someone stops you then you get up and go again. You get 6 tackles and if you haven't scored by then the other team gets the ball.

Watch the England game tonight at 8 and see what you think.

It really wasnt a game to do the game justice ....Why does McNamara keep picking Rangi Chase ..Gareth Widdop is by far a better all round player ..

New Zealand only been asked to give up 6 points against England. Looks like a good bet to me.

New Zealand with a try right on the final whistle and win 20-18 after scoring the conversion.

Totally wrong with my prediction ..fantastic game , thought sinfield should have kicked for touch with 90 seconds on the clock but kicked it straight to Kevin Locke who created the platform for the kiwis to score ....

Shame I missed it. Will try and catch the highlights. Was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Did England play well then ?

Cant find a Union thread so i will put it in here.

What a performance from Ireland so far, not much of a Rugby fan but not often you see New Zealand on the back foot.

Gutted... I so wanted Ireland to win and for 80 minutes they were, but there's no denying that the All Blacks are just an awesome rugby machine!

    Sport at it's greatest there!
