am i the only one who liked him??

i wouldnt mind bringing him back if villa sell him for cheaper than we sold him. i think he made a mistake and if he has to take a wage cut then that will be his punishment for being a greedy sod. cover is hard to comeby and he was immense in the 2005/06 season. utility players of his calibre are good to have and it would be ammusing to see strachan putting him in his place.
overall if he apoligises to us and gives 210% i think we should give him another chance.

No. I rated him too. He was a great wee player. In the one season where he played regularly he was the best player in the country. It doesn't change the fact though that he did treat us rather shabbily.

He had one good season at us and everybody thinks hes a great player . Lets see if he can do it on a regular basis . Anyway McGeady and Riordan can play on the left . Deek has scored far more SPL goals that Maloney has

Let's look forward, not backwards. He wouldn't get in the team now anyway.

i would give him a chance again,* 15 months ago he was young and player of the year,,
and remember, hes young and got on better with MON,mabye he thought being with martin would be better, forgetting that the teams are totally different, we all make mistakes, and we probly dont know the full story behind him leaving, but i would give him a chance but he would have to work his * of first ,and not just assume hes first choice
i would also offer less money just to see how much he wanted back,a reasonable but lesser offer.and if he humed and hawed about it then idtell him thanks but get back to your villa

This transfer aint going to happen imo. Yet i believe the fact that we can reject him shows how much we have moved from the days were he was a key player that we needed. Yeh it took him a while to get a chance but thats cp 4 u. Yet he became a traiting wee * and shouldnt set foot in cp ever again

Aye, shabbily. You, and no one else on here, actually know exactly what happened or the figures involved.

I don't see how 'we' made him.

It's interesting that you don't comment on my other point - that if a player leaves he's a treacherous scumbag, and if a player stays (like Thompson) he's a leech. They cannae win.

How many players in the last ten years, except Henke, have maintained 'brilliance' ?
