Does anyone think he has a bit of a look of a young Stan Petrov in him, just me?

sitter or not his first goal in a celtic jersey means he will be more confident than if he didnt score a goal and chasing his 1st goal, i think stokesy and pukki are gonna be class together

His movement was spot on for the goal,he was waiting for Stokes to * the ball to his head.Looks like a good partnership already.

Very pleased he scored yesterday. We have been creating chances like that the past few games but no one there to finish them.

Huge that he got a goal on his debut. That has to be such a massive confidence boost for him. His movemnet off the ball looked pretty good as well.

Played about 18 minutes yesterday against Milan and during that time he touched the ball ONCE. I thought he was open for passes many times, but for some reason he didn't get the ball. Why do you think that is? I think it just took a little too long for the tired Celtic players to realize the option he gave with his movement. Or do you think his movement was not good enough?

I noticed same thing that Pukki did some good runs but he didint get the ball. I tihink we must use his abilities better in next matches.

He was so useless in the end when he was with whole Milan team.

Haha, it was like Finland's national team back in the days when Mikael Forssell played up front. Never got the ball since the other players weren't able to get it to him. Some people blamed Forssell for it (that he wasn't making himself available enough), but when a team is struggling to get the ball out of their own end, my opinion is that you really can't blame the striker.

Pukki made a few good "trademark" runs, but other Celtic players always lost the ball before they were able to pass it to him. The last 10 mins from Celtic were so awful, that it would be really strange to blame Pukki when he's almost alone there against 7 Milan players. That situation has never been ideal to Pukki (or to any other striker in the world). He's good at making those clever runs, but if no one's there to pass the ball to him, what can he do?

Of course the tone might be very different now had the free kick, which Pukki earned right away after coming on the pitch, not hit the bar but go in instead. Anyway, my point is that Pukki can't be judged by yesterday's performance. He only played 12 minutes and Celtic was in total disarray most of that time. I hope he starts against the saints on saturday, I desperately want to see him play a longer time and show what he's capable of against SPL defences...

Didn't he come on between minutes 76 and 77? And the game ended between minutes 94 and 95. Closer to 20 minutes than 12 minutes just to be precise.
