The guys 31 and no played for two years, dont exactly think it would be right to assume hes got years left in him. What im saying is that hes decent back back up but id be pretty worried if he was walking straight in to the team should forster go

Not his fault he hasn't played for 2 years i'm sure he's worked his balls off to get himself fit and stay in shape he is a quality keeper you don't hold the British record transfer fee if your not

I'd probably just have two ballboys moving the sticks when a shot came in

31 isn't so old for a keeper, still another 6 or 7 years at the top level if he looks after himself... and can keep injury free.

Would rather keep Forster though and have Gordon as back up.

What you say is a load of bollocks . Lennon got Watt a new contract immediately after he scored against Barcelona and kept him in the match squad right through to the end of the league . It would have been totally unfair on Watt , to have exposed him to 90mins as he was clearly not fit enough to play the whole game . Watt was regularly used as substitute but his form deteriorated . Although it was a disciplinary matter that had him not in the match squad for the Scottish Cup final .

Sure , when playing for Celtic you only need the goalkeeper to save a couple of shots and take a half dozen goal kicks . If he * up with one shot we will surely win anyway with Ronnie in charge .

What sort of moaners are we as a group, we would moan about the coin used to decide ends .

Really disappointed he's gone, always thought he was a chance at us having a great Scottish striker that might develop to be some player and actually be loyal to the club after becoming a success.

Yip and the same with Balde.
Balde was making 28,000 a week while sitting in the stands or * the sheep on the Campsie Fells because he told Lawwell to * off and stayed.
Balde was 100% correct to live up to his contract, but then it seems when he left there was some sort of "clause" he had to sign, same as Gravesen ffs.
Yes it smells of Lawwell alright, but who will be next.

In hindsight we were right to cull the high earners though, we couldn't have sustained that.

I hope we aren't going too far in the other direction now though.
