Most people seem to be planning a trip to Amsterdam, Barca and Milan very familiar at this stage. Should be some craic in Amsterdam though... I'm booked! :bbpd:

Comments from Umberto Gandini (AC Milan director and ECA vice-chairman):

"It's a great group. A group full of former champions and one is the best team in the world, which is Barcelona."

"We will play among friends. Milan-Barcelona have played 4 times in the past three years. Ajax is a team we play very often in the group stages. Celtic were in the same group as Barcelona last year and we played them in the knockout rounds, I think it was 5 years ago."

"So it's a balanced group. Very interesting, with a favourite for everybody which is Barcelona. And then three other teams who will fight til the end to qualify.

"I think everyone will try to take points from the Barcelona games. But the most important games will be Milan-Ajax, Ajax-Milan, Celtic-Ajax, Ajax-Celtic, Celtic-Milan and Milan-Celtic. I think these three teams will fight for the majority of points in the group."

    Barcelona? Sick of pumping them.
AC Milan? Never heard of them.
Ajax? Sounds like something you'd call a unicorn. #18points

    Here's a scary thought.

Imagine this: Barcelona, AC Milan and Ajax all welcoming the sheep killers to their respective stadiums. That would have been a sight to behold. Thank Larsson for Anthony Stokes.

Barca away is our last game. Could be a good and a bad thing I guess.

Wee bit disappointed it's teams we've faced previously. I would have liked some new teams.

But it is the Champion's League!

    Oh yeah.

I hope ur right! Quite pleased myself that we kick off there and finish v Barcelona. I like kicking off on the road, not as much pressure. If it was a lackluster affair like our opener v Benfica last yr, wouldn't be a bad thing.

    My prediction

Celtic will get 0 out the barca games.
Celtic will get 3 pts at home to Millan, 0 away.
Celtic to get 3 pts at home to Ajax, but 0 away.

We may finish 3rd on 6pts possibly.

Only games i'm up for are v Ajax, Milan ok but seen them a fair few times now and barca ffs no again man...

man u?!! * always get the easy groups every f**king year joke!!!

spurs may buy ericksen ( their kep playmaker may go to spurs which would be great )
milan are ropey can be hit and miss depending when they want to turn it on - beat 2-1 at home to verona..

barca is barca but i think in the last few years their edge is lost.. they could never sustain they way there were playing

set pieces / corners might be our biggest assets as well as home form in europe.. now that i feel parkhead is a fortress in european eyes.

would love to see a powerhouse signed and also a dynamo who can link midfield to strikers.. penetrating / through balls and lets hope teemu can play off the last defender make blind side runs.

    Milan 1-1 Celtic
    Celtic 1-1 Barcelona
    Celtic 3-1 Ajax
    Ajax 1-0 Celtic
    Celtic 2-0 Milan
    Barcelona 3-0 Celtic

8 points, should be enough to at least finish third :icon_mrgreen: :50:
