Last season POTY for me. He was great. Such a shame he is leaving now, but I can totally understand him. All the best Kelvin! :50:

four leaf clover, just cant get enough.
Remember the day we signed him and thought nothing much of it. Needless to say this will hurt. Hopefully the new boys can fill in but I think we have seen how it takes some time to fit into this team. Heres hoping Charlie and Ambrose (good gawd) can hold it down until that happens. I'd go for another transfer in the center back as well.

    Good luck Kelvin!

I don't think he'd be going back to Forest unless it was a * good reason.

Good luck to the big guy and in all honesty just over a year ago I wouldn't have given it much thought about it if he left then given his first season with us. Glad he managed to have such a blinder last season with us and was really good last night too.

May "only" just be in England but he's plying his trade a few hundred miles away in Scotland and the amount of time that the players put in for the clubs it's not like he can just pop down the road every couple of days to see them. Total respect for the reason he's given for leaving and family come first no matter what.

    He'll be missed.

Even in his first year I didn't doubt the boy. His first 5/6 games he was brilliant then he had a nightmare at Ibrox in his first Old Firm and everybody wrote him off. He won't be the first or last person to buckle under the pressure of an Old Firm derby - always knew he could come back from it once he regained his confidence.

He leaves with my best wishes; you can't argue with a guy leaving for family reasons.

To be with his family and see his daughter every day. There is more to life than football when you have a young family.

Van Dijk better step up quickly! The problem in the last few years with our defence has been the time to settle in for new players! Took Kelvin 1 year or so to play good & Ambrose is not at his best yet.

All respect to Wilson for putting his family first :50:

Unfortunately I think Ambrose is at his best.....I see him the same way I see Stokes as in he can look good in the spl and get away with his countless flaws, step up in opposition and its blatantly obvious he isn't good enough......Mulgrew and Vd pairing for the next qualifier unless we get a new cb in to replace Wilson.

I think he's made a decision he will come to regret. He isn't exactly a million miles from home, and has the financial means to see his daughter regularly.

Football is a short career, everyone has to make sacrifices sometimes - and I think this is a crazy decision from him.

So this summer we've lost the core of our team - best defender, best midfielder and best striker, the new guys better step up quick.

Big Kelvinbauer has been superb, it'll be a massive loss considering we havent had anyone at centre-back whos played as well as him probably since Bobo and Varga in the 2003-04 season - 10 season ago for fucksake!!!

It would have been great to have him here for 5 more years.

He is a really intelligent defender, reads the game like a book, marks people well, slide tackles for fun and has good recovery pace to match most strikers. Only things that would stop him from being worth £10million+ are that hes a wee bit weak and not that good in the air.

For me he's really similar to Ashley Williams from Swansea who is said to be worth about £8-10million.

He's a * mug going back to play for that Davis * after the way he was treated.

Going to miss the big guy though, overall he's been excellent. Especially in the CL matches.

A bit unfair to say that considering how quality Mulgrew was in the season before last at CB. He was outstanding. If he wasn't randomly dropped from his player of the year position and moved to midfield, maybe you would have the same high opinion for him.
