The revoked license for our safety certificate is even worse. Never heard so much garbage ever. I see they picked a great time to announce this though, ST money collected and no home game for a few weeks. Let the dust settle eh.

It definitely couldve been handled alot better, and as you say ST sales have been collected.

 

I have no respect for the GB with the constant childish statments and they way they come across. It sometimes seems like they think parkhead would collapse if they weren't there. We've been notorious for our great fan base /atmosphere before GB were ever introduced. Only reason the "thunder" is gone is because of the disgusting unemployment statistics in Glasgow, not because the GB weren't created yet. Sure it helps having a select amount of fans in one section but its not rocket science to know this was coming. GB got warnings. Not as if they banned the GB from the stadium, they just closed down an experimental section they created with the fans. GB can still organize things for games, they don't have to all be sitting beside eachother. Celtic just need to put all the families in one section (which I'm sure they just opened a new family section) and other fans won't feel bad about signing so much if there's no children around.

Embarrassing... We have the exact same attitude as the huns sometimes. soon as something happens we start shouting boycott right away. Anyone actually backing this ridiculous thing. Remember it next time your taking the * out of the huns for the exact same thing.

 

the green brigades singing and colour are brilliant BUT nobody is bigger than the club and maybe in time it can be resolved but I hate to read and hear of boycotts for something like this

I appreciate the Green Brigade when they contribute to the atmosphere but seriously, they can feel free to boycott but anyone who joins in with them is kidding themselves on about tho they actually support.

 

Same reason the huns weren't stripped of their trophies - the myth that they still exists in the MSM and the fact that no one was prosecuted for blatant fraud.

He's "paraphrasing" the hypothetical statements from those opposed to the GB etc.

Count me in for some sort of protest before or after a game but no way would I boycott. I do disagree with the closing of 111 and hope to see the GB back soon though.

 

Think it was from a poster on KDS (Glasgow Road) who is also an ex member of The Affiliation. He resigned over what he seen as dirty tricks from the board to divide the fan groups and turn them against the GB.

 

I'm not the only person that thinks GB use their atmosphere as a weapon. I always see statements as if they think they are more important than the regular fans. Anytime something happens I hear someone from the GB saying something like "boycott!" and to me that's blackmail. They're basically saying "oh we dnt like that, if it doesn't get changed were gonna pull our support in numbers. That's not a type of blackmail? Funniest thing is your group is made to support Celtic n you guys turn all activists as soon as something doesn't go your way. N what's wrong with assuming the flares came from the GB ? Its been talked about on the GB thread numerous times before. So I'm suppose to believe the guys that deny it in the same statement they claim our board are all piers. No chance, seems like your group have more of an agenda than PL. What is this agenda the GB claim PL has against them ?

yes this is true Marie but that's not to say they haven't tried it before. It completely contradicts the whole reason that group was organized ... To support our team.

people can disagree with me all they want, I know what I have read. Nothing about he GB got me mad at them untill I started reading their poor statements attacking the club, calling them "pathetic", claiming to take legal action, claiming the board are liers and that they have an agenda. The Celtic statements made alot more sense to me and they didn't sound like a 5 year old child.
