Hope Stokes does well and shines, showing Ronny what he can do.

Massive test of character for him, if the attitude rumours are true, really hope he makes the most of it. I'd like to see him back pre-season like a new player.

Jose worked with top names in the game before he ever went into management ,a bit of a difference between a guy who played in norway ,won a Norwegian league telling players who have featured in international football, champions league,Europa league (* the spl is vastly superior to anything in norway) what it takes to be a success .

Not saying he didn't but that's no guarantee either, Ferguson didn't work with many, if any, 'top names' either did he.
I also wouldn't be as sure as you regarding the Norwegian league and the SPL, sure there are some * teams but there appears to be some decent ones as well, so 'vastly superior' isn't correct imo anyway.

    Great post oh bhoy.

Deila compared with Ferguson aye howl on a minute  did someone spike my drink this morning? Unless you are talking about Sarah Ferguson duchess of wales, in terms of football management they are probably comparable alright.

    * sake like, he's very very clearly not some absolute abomination of a manager. Took absolute nobodies in Norway and without a penny made them Champions, has won about 70% of his matches with us, and had a 3-3 European draw with Inter to add to two trophies. You may not think he's the best man for us, nor do I, but for Christs sake, stop acting like he's some abysmal anti-Christ of a football manager.

3-3 European Draw at Parkhead. We should give him a medal.

Ferguson worked with the best there was ,come on!! Of course it ain't a mandatory requirement to have extensive experience to be a success but trying to convince someone you know more about something than someone who has achieved so much more ain't an ideal senario

Today is not a good day for that point of view. Look at the thread you are posting in as well. There is a chance that Stokes will be a Hibernian player soon which was also his plan Griff 13 months ago. That is mental. Either our manager cant see his talent or he cant handle the player, either way he should be out.

Stokes is agonisingly mediocre, I reckon we'll somehow survive as a club without him.

If mediocre is an adjective to describe Stokes then using the same scale Rogic, Ciftci, Armstrong, GMS, & Cole are poor, while describing Ronny as an abomination is also accurate.

That's a fair comment, mate. We can't say for certain what the problems have been, but based on what we do know, there has to be something.

Could be a number of things that I could have a guess at but I'm going to resist speculating.

As things stand, he isn't being selected. If he goes out on loan, then it'll hopefully save the club some money then have him return to be a useful Celtic player again.

Yes players he did , you said Mourinho worked with 'big names' (coaches) prior to going into management, I pointed out that ferguson didn't.
Thankfully you , unlike some cretins, aren't or don't seem to be thinking I am comparing the success of the 2, obviously its chalk and cheese, but Ferguson/Mourinho started somewhere. That's the whole point I am making mate. I would also agree it isn't an ideal scenario but we do not have the luxury of being able to pick and choose our managers.

Well that didn't last long eh , maybe I should feel flattered I suppose .. or just put it down to you not caring again :56: :bbpd:

That's pish! It's all well and good slagging the manager off from your computer with no knowledge of what's happened internally. How do you know he's not got an attitude problem and refuses to train properly? How do you know he just doesn't care about becoming a better player? No matter what you or anybody else thinks about the management team, they know more about what's going on than you. Good luck to Stokes wherever he goes but he's never been that great.
