I saw quite a bit of the game, was thinking for some time that Rigters was another Kenny Miller he missed a few good chances, then bingo what a terrific overhead kick with his back to the goal and the ball high in the air in the 89th minute.
I would like to see him play in the Final against the Serbs before I can say one way or the other that Celtic could use him, and I still dont think his pal will make the grade at Celtic Evander Sno?
Holland were by far the better team and easily deserved the win!

 

Rigters, for 300K I would take the bet.
First Leonardo was ahead him in the striker position (now Ajax) and then Salmon, so he played as winger.. That could be the reason he didn't was that good in the dutch league.. Same story with Drenthe (leftback at feyenoord bad, left mid at Holland U21 great..)

Rigters scores another cracker to put Holland 3-0 up, his desirability will now also be throught the roof as he scores his 5th goal in the tourney.

Might still come, as we were interested in him before this tourney apparantly? Also Sno might give the thumbs up?

 

yip I guess his value has shot up in the recent weeks is he also the top goal scorer ?

 

With Rigters finishing Tournament's top scorer & with Drenthe probably getting Player of the Tournament, Celtic may struggle to fight off top European clubs to sign these guys - especially as Holland won the Cup so easily.

If we get Rigters for £300k that'll probably go down as the biggest bargin deal since Larsson from another Dutch club for a little more cash.
Obviously not comparing this guy to the king of kings, but even so - for 1/4million it seems that Celtic & pistol Pete should set their sights on this guy.

the agent who talked to bbc was the right agent but the one in the scttish hun is fake.

Also I checked his stats on football manager becuase it quite accuratly come out with who is going to be the best in the world and Maceo Rigters has potential of 144 not exactly great but for a player who hasn't been properly researched in thats good, If celtic don't go in for him their mad.

 

ITS A GAME mate. I wouldnt push much stock in anything a game has.

and famous player and in fm 01/02 they were predicted to be future stars and now they are although it did predict many more some do come true so I use it just as a little check up I checked up Jvoh in 01/02 and it said he is good and will be better and now he is at celtic and he is good.

 

I used to play this game & Craig Beattie was worth about £15million & Scotland won Euro 2008 with Beattie as the tournie top scorer.
Also Miller was a good player, I wanted to sell him cos he's pish in real life, but I kept him cos he was good in the game.

Rigters is a better prospect than Beasley, so we can take him and let Rangers take Beasley, I see that as being fair enough!

 

I said that in the post most of them turn out to be nothing but some turn out to be stars it's like 1 in every 50 turn out to what the game predicted.
