Strachan - Bellamy

Bearing in mind Bellamy used to play under Strachan at Coventry, can someone tell me what there relationship was like? Will this help keep Bellamy at the club or will it just put him off?

 

yeah he did 4 coventry in 1996 2 1998 they did have there ups and downs like most players and managers 2 things bellamy did not like playing in midfield thats were strachan put him he wanted 2 play along side hartson 4 a few games 2 see what it was like 4 the 2 off them playing next 2 each other but strach never did.bellamy lot off respect 4 strachan he might stay.(hope so)

 

Well, Bellamy might think "There's no room for me in midfield here, so if I stay I can play beside Hartson like I've always wanted, yeah! I'll stay here!"

 

Waste of 6 million if you ask me , Great player , but not a striker , would be a good winger if he could cross a ball

 

I thought Bellamy and Strachan had a big bust up at one point. ?

The minute I heard Strachan was coming to Parkhead I resigned myself immediately to the fact Bellamy would certainly not be staying.

I hope I am wrong though as he is a class act!

Yeah my understanding was that they didn't part well and on Sunday reading the papers I thought straight away that Bellamy was off. Hopefully he will stay though.

 

Yep Bellamy and Strachen had a massive bust up and i think they detest each other i cant see Bellars stayin now.

 

Its a shame that a manager like him will put off one decent player Celtic have at the moment in time

 

As if Bellamy was ever going to stay after Sunday? Get real...Strachan or no, Bellamy's not going to stay. *, I reckon there's a few first teamers laughing at the prospect of playing for this jacked-up ginger dwarf. I don't respect him, why should the players?

 

Bellamy and Strachan had a fall out.

But ffs Bellamy had made up his mind he was leaving Celtic before he had even set foot in CP.

 

I am a Coventry City season ticket holder so and Bellamy was with us during our relegation season of 2000/01. There was an argument but during that season Strachan had lost the respect of most of the players. On the other side, Bellamy was absolutely useless and any manager would have been angry with him. I am delighted that Bellamy scored against the huns but he was a disaster at Coventry. I can't see him staying, and I am in a dark depression over Strachan. Still, it keeps the Coventry-Celtic connection going.

 

if he is to stay its not for the money or for strachan, its because he thinks it is the best for him, he always said that he wanted to win trophies and when he left newcastle for celtic he thought he'd be back for the new season... well that ain't gonna happen,and i don't think he will join villa because they will never winn a trophy , so it has to be celtic or another major club.. (and are there any league or cup winning teams really interested ? no! 'cause the bayern rumour is denied by the germans themself..)

 

Not sure about Bellers tbh, for £6m anyway...
