Why was it announced as an undisclosed fee? If it really was 12.5 million then there would be no need to conceal it.

In the game just after Christmas when Ledley scored Wanyama absolutely rag dolled them.

Sad to see him go, brilliant player.

But excited to see what we can do with that money and who we will bring in.
This is an exciting period for us..... we are on the cusp of setting all sorts of SPL records, we are financially sound and we are bringing through/buying some exciting young talents.
If we can keep doing well in the Champions League each year we will be able to attract a better quality of young player too. It's all up 'n up.

Possibly to hide our hand when negotiating for new players.

Probably a bit late for that :smiley-laughing002:

I am surprised that Lennon hasn't come out with the 'I won't get much of that money to spend speech' though, to try and play down our obvious financial situation

You're really not very bright are you?

You do realise every penny will be accounted for in the yearly audited accounts.

That can be covered up by Desmond.

By that time people will be past caring. It was a question, not a statement.

The entertaining part is that even my mates who are of the Blue side have accepted the value of the transfer.:smiley-laughing002:

My mates from the dark side reckon the Mcgeady transfer wasn't as much as claimed and also have a hunch that this one isn't too.

I was claiming it was, I was simply asking.

I am concerned though at how much of this will actually get given to neil. Whether the board will keep half of it to insure against possible CL fallout, or whether they have the balls to really invest and nigh on guarantee the CL group stages.

The coming weeks will really show what kind of level the board and neil think we should be playing at, is it hoping to qualify for the CL or is it we should be qualifying year in year out.

We are a PLC. It is impossible to cover up, of course if you have proof or any reason to be suspicious over this feel free to contact the police who will have Desmond in the courts immediately for criminal activity.

I want us to be a European force by the time Newco Rangers are back up.
