    Money talks, sadly.

    Although I'm convinced we could have given Hooper the money he wanted if we dug into our pockets, he obviously would rather play in the EPL and challenge for a regular place in the England squad.

    Grant Holt - 15 EPL goals 2011/12 season, 31 years old.

    Danny Graham - 12 EPL goals 2011/12 season, 25 years old.

    Rickie Lambert - 15 EPL goals 2012/13 season, 30 years old.

    All of which had played in the Championship the season previous.

    I rate Hooper better than any of those 3, so why wouldn't Hooper manage similar if not more goals?

    We all know it isn't as black and white as that.

    The 3 factors Norwich have over Celtic at the minute are; wages, the league they play in and his England chances.

    A few seasons ago moving to Wolves would have offered the same thing, it's purely down to timing. Celtic will always be a bigger club than Norwich and indeed the majority of the Premiership. We shouldn't take it personally we have doubled our money on a guy that scored a shitload of goals for us and had less than a year left on his contract.

    Everyone is happy, good luck to him in the rest of his career. I doubt it will ever reach the heights it has in a Celtic jersey :50:

    van Wolfswinkel and Hooper will play as a parternship, Norwich aren't going to pay £5.5m for a player with 1 year left on his deal to bench warm him.
