He'll be top scorer by end of the year and sold to arsenal for £40m and £1. Just my prediction. Good luck hoops, much happier your going to the epl.

I dont really care where he goes but suppose I rather him in the Premier League than the Championship and I could just imagine the headlines if he signed for QPR "Celtic star signs for Rangers"

Be good to see him on MOTD, especially up top with Norwich's new signings.

Him and Van Wolfswinkel are already destined to be up front in my Fantasy League team, along with Benteke.

Becchio is a good goalscorer as well! Be interesting to see how the play it.

Who says we are even in talks with the Latvian striker? We didn't want Russell or McCarthy so '* about' is about as far from the truth as possible.

    Spot on.

The amount of * cheap options we've opted for is depressing. Add it all up we could probably have bought a world class striker.

If Doyle is who we are buying, after raking in mega bucks, I sincerely hope heads roll.

Do yous think Van Wolfswinkel and Hooper will play together?

    Ruddy
    Martin Turner Bassong Garrido
    Howson Fer
    Snodgrass Hooper Pilkington
    Van Wolfswinkel

Decent team, Hoopers a great signing for them. He'll be their best player and very important to kicking off most of their attacks. Away from home too they can put Hooper up front with Hoolahan in the hole.

Will be a lot happier if he goes to Norwich, showing far more ambition there. Still won't get him an England call up right enough.

Grant Holts a diddy though, same as Rickie Lambert. They are never England class.

Hooper is similar quality or better than England players like Andy Johnson, Defoe, Bent, Welbeck, Sturridge and Carroll and that who are always regular England squad members.

That's all well and good, it's not going to win us trophies unless we spend some of it.

I like how we hurl abuse at players chasing money instead of trophies, yet find it perfectally OK for our board to break up a trophy winning team in order to get money.

You sure? I don't think it is. Between 2006-2008, can't remember what year, we made £70 million in turnover, compared to the £51 million this year.

That was only with CL money and gate receipts. The money recieved from UEFA is already higher than in previous years and the £22million hadn't factored in gate receipts or matchday revenue so with the Wanyama and Hooper sales, we must have just about eclipsed that I reckon. Plus with a reduced spending on wages and transfer fees compared to either of those seasons, I would expect us to have made slightly more in profit also.

Our record Turnover was £75million I think.

The £51million this year was only until the 31st of December. There was still 6 months to go, depending on when we get paid from the SPL and sponsors too if its before July then that money will be in it too plus early season ticket sales, the Juventus games and thousands more ticket sales and merchandise sales.

Good chance we will beat it.

If we qualify for the Champions League this season then we probably will beat it this year with the sales of Hooper and Wanyama in it.
