It'll be good for checking scores, I wouldn't use it for much else.

The amount of people you see on Facebook during the game is scary.

Unless it's an absolutely unbelievable wifi network then surely 60,000 people trying to access it at once will jam it up anyway and create the same problem there is at the minute?

Unless it's a standing area I couldn't care. WiFi will just delute the atmosphere even more. And prob cost crazy prices. Modern football. It's rotten

Don't know how this can make the atmosphere worse, the people who sing aren't all going to start tweeting during the middle of the game. It's good for checking scores etc, nothing wrong with it.

But the fence sitters may be less likely to sing, and people will concentrate less on the game.

How many people are going to be able to let their phone vibrate in their pockets and not look at it.

I can't say it really moves me up or down to be honest. I can see it's advantages but you're in the stadium for 2 hours, I can survive without checking my facebook page for that long.

I've wanted it for a while to be honest, mostly because me and my family all have iPhones and that would get iMessage during the game.

My mum likes a wee update at halftime about how the games going. Also could get contacted in an emergency as well, which I generally can't just now.

Do we know if this is about wi-fi? I know it's been confirmed that there will be wifi from next season, but that won't make the stadium look different.

How will this affect people inside Celtic Park with regular mobile phones looking up facebook or the internet generally, connection wise?

As others mention it will be useful for scores, apart from that I have no other reason to use it.

This is inevitably going to cost......so * it anyway

I * detest all the * who are on facebook while the game is progress telling all their "friends" how the game is going. If they are that interested in in your"real life" they wouldn't need to know where you are or how Celtic are getting on.* Facebook Fannies

Don`t get why folk sit and * about on phones while the game is on. One * that sat near me came in 20 mins late, sat and * about with his phone. Then at half-time * off and never came back. Don`t know why he bothered turning up.

    Let the people sing,
How will CP look different with the introduction of wi-fi?

Is it just me or are they having a bit of fun with the idea of a safe standing area? :56:

People need to learn to stop getting * off at other fans for doing miniscule stuff like checking their facebook during the game. They can do whatever the * they like :smiley-laughing002:

Have to disagree anyone who goes on Facebook whilst at the game needs shot in the head, mind you they might want to check and see if their friends have just done a jobby or missed a bus,or any other random * that nae * needs to hear about :31:
