    Dnt think we should bother with this other than as a squad player, we just signed balde who is also 6'3. I dont want us to go down that route. We need to get smaller, pacey players who can go past people and we also need a playmaker.

    Looks decent. Strange considering we signed Balde though, looks kind of similar in style of play. Can't see it.

    Not sure how they have linked him to celtic but sky sports is at least one of the best sources.

    He hasnt played much at the top level with monaco being relegated but did manage to get them promoted again. Seems a bit older than the type of player we would go for but a loan to buy option may be best.

    Decent pace, good strength, can shoot with either foot, great in the air and on the deck....but questionable why at 27 nobody else has taken a chance with him.

    Goalscoring record is good where ever he has been

    He was plucked from obscurity by one of the richest clubs around at 25, and has flourished since. I wouldn't say that no one has taken a chance with him. If anyone had wanted him the last two seasons I doubt Monaco would have allowed him to leave.

    Well my impression was that you were dismissing him just because he 'doesn't fit into our signing policy.' As his age seems to be your only concern, I was just pointing out how ridiculous that is. By that logic, if we were in the position to sign a 26 year old Larsson in 2013, you wouldn't. :56:

    I was dismissing him because Park has clearly been tasked with identifying young footballers with potential, Toure isn't a young footballer with potential. Any other signing we've made under Lennon has either been a Lennon target or as with Majstorovic a Mjallby target.

    So unless we alter our policy, which is feasible, I can't see us signing him. Added to the fact I severely doubt we're on the lookout for another powerful striker.

    Miku was loaned in January to bolster our attacking options because we were through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, he had fallen out of favour where he was and we had the chance of bringing in a 7 million rated striker for nothing for a while.

    Miku was signed last summer mate.

    I also think he was a panic loan because other deals fell through, which left us with not a lot of options last day of the window.
