For a guy that has excelled in Scotland with ease yet not done anything noteable in Champions League I'd take £10M, or keep him until january see if he can shine in CL and could get upto £12-15M.

 

i think McGeady will be in this deal with Van Dijk going to Everton.

At this stage in the summer , we should be holding out for 12m plus . There will be more than one bid coming in on deadline day if he is still a celtic player .

 

Keeping him would be worth not signing anyone else this window.

If Everton end up the preferred bidder, I don't want McGeady anywhere near the deal.

We need to get maximum value for Virgil.. If we decide to go for McGeady it should be a separate deal altogether possibly a loan deal initially.

If we get identical bids form different clubs I don't mind giving Everton preferred status to secure McGeady on loan but wouldn't want him devaluing the actual deal for Virgil and we should go with the bid that offers the most outright.

Somehow don't see Ronny going for McGeady anyway.

Everton are one of my favourite teams in the EPL. If he does go, I wouldn't mind him going to them. Aslong as they give us £10mil.

 

The depressing thing is that Van Dijk is worth more than that (going by Premiership fees) yet most of us would be fairly happy with that.

Its not even like our 2 big sales have failed down there.
