    It’s understood that Wanyama is leaning towards a move to Premier League new boys Cardiff in any case.
    But Hoops defender Adam Matthews has told him that playing for the Welsh club doesn’t compare to playing for Celtic.
    Matthews — who joined Celts from Cardiff in 2011 — said: “I don’t think the clubs can be compared.
    “Cardiff are a great club with great fans. But having come to Celtic it would be hard to emulate that if he goes ANYWHERE else.”

    The key man if Wanyama goes is Beram Kayal. If he could find the form he was in when he first signed, we wouldn't even have to buy a replacement in my opinion. Kayal was absolutely superb prior to his bit of bad luck with injuries and Lee McCulloch being a dirty *. I think it's a no brainer, give Beram a run of games in the team and lets see if he can emulate the performances of when he first arrived. Because if he can, then we are looking at another £8-10million player I think, and a ready made replacement for Vic without spending any of his fee that we receive.

    Both Hooper and Wanyama are overrated.

    It's not hard to be 20 goal a season player for Celtic. Just look at mediocre players like Zurawski and Scott McDonald, great in the SPL, * everywhere else. Hooper can be replaced for pennies, in fact we've allready got Stokes, a proven 20er with Hibs, waiting in the wings, and a potential star in Watt.

    Wanyama can't pass or shoot. He's just big & black, let's be honest. If he was 5'5 and weighed 150 lbs not a word would be said about him. Add to that his laziness both on and off the ball, you all know what I'm talking about.


    At least Wanyama has the sense to move up and not sideways, but 19 goal a season Gary Hooper, greatest striker in the world, is chomping at the bit to move down south; we won't lose out if he does.
