He'd get a game for England banging them in for QPR. He could score 35,000 Champions League goals for us and the arrogant * still wouldn't call him up.

I know, if a players good, he is good - does not matter what league he is in!

    English mentality is irritating.

He is more likely to get a call up in the championship than scoring in the champs league for us though :31:

Even your jay bothroyds get called up playing down there think was at qpr..

Zaha half a good season and gets a call up and a 12 mill move to united,he will get found out big time he's not that good!

Rhodes can get an 8 mill move from a league 1 side,it's crazy

    You can say that again.

Add to our results the fact that it looks like we have lost our two best players to teams like Southampton, then QPR and Norwich possibly now. If we sell him we better act quickly and get some money spent on replacements and new players. No excuses. I'm not talking millions upon millions but we need to strengthen.

Or maybe he isn't good enough for an England call up.

Forster got one. That's been swiftly swept under the carpet, however.

Unless of course his goals fire us into the CL group stages, in which case defo worth it - as CL participation = £12m, whereas transfer fee = £6m max, which is profit of £3.6m!

Losing two players down the spine of our team would be hard to recover from quickly.

We better have proven players to come in and replace them. Diamonds in the rough just wont cut it to replace those two.

How is he not good enough if he's never even been in the squad?

Forsters been called up what once, twice in friendlies and played no part, how pointless is that?

What about Alan Thompson one cap when they didn't have a left winger in the whole country? Or Sutton?

Don't make out as if they by pass the spl

The Alan Thompson thing * them, played Paul Scholes left wing.

Their arrogance astounds me. Best central midfielder E glands ever produced and they play him left wing :56:

Think we should keep him until after the qualifiers and then let him go.Lenny should sit him down and tell him he'd go out as a hero if his goals were vital for us qualifying to the CL. I think if he knew we wern't going stop him moving to the prem and fulfilling his boyhood dream he would play out of his skin in those crucial qualifying rounds as a thank you to celtic

I have no idea the only thing I can think of that holds any sort of logic is they are favourites to Win the championship and Harry Redknapp is one of they managers English players like working under.

They'll double his wages that's why.

For all the money they spend they're still a * nobody club.
