our next signing???

think it will probably be koumas or frei (says in the times we'r interested and closin in on them) but if we get them 2 is that it?? no BIG signins, bit disappointin a was expectin the likes of bellamy, barton, appiah or riquelme. we'r blowin a huge chunk of our money on a championship player. not good enough

 

i hope we get frei and koumas. both really good players imo. the others, apart from barton, were unrealistic targets. EPL clubs and others on the continent are interested in them so will cost a lot of money. I am not disappointed. We have got a squad which will dominate the SPL and i think, with a bit of luck in the draw, we can go one round further in the CL this year

we are chasing a creative player who was on the losing side... is koumas good enough for us..... i'd be more interested on who played better than him from the derby side

 

rite wat am tryin 2 say is that nearer the end of the season all the talk around CP was of a few HUUGE signins and if we'r spendin 6mill on koumas and another few mill on frei along with the 4.5mill of brown, surely theres no more money left for these big signins. would be a bit disappointin

 

* ur 6mil for koumas,wed be better off getting Roy O donavon frm Cork City for Bout 800,000 EURO,16 goals in 17 games n hes an attacking midfielder who plays upfront

 

it means the big signing that will make the fan go "wow". i.e bellamy.

 

Not sure he is blue chip enough. I was shot down for suggesting Blackpool's Wes Hoolihan who looked superb on the successful run to promotion to the championship this year. He is pretty good and would cost about 50p.

i think this site is gettin out of touch with reality * me riquelme playing in scotland am sorry but i keep reading the same * no wonder most of you are not happy with some of our last signings

some of yous need to get a grip and start thinking realistic big players will not come to scotland celtic might be a huge teame but in modern times celtic is a poor team top players wouldn't think twice about picking the likes of newcastle over us and its all about money

i would rather a nobody with heart and somthing to prove come to celtic ie naylor

lets drop this * "hes not celtic class" * and let wgs build his succesfull team of bravehearts and don't forget this teame has been the most succesfull european wise in decades

 

ok i'll dream now but... I would love to see polish striker/offensive midfielder Irek Jelen in Celtic. I know you probably don't rate polish strikers (see Maciej) but few weeks ago when I was asked about polish players i would like to see playing for The Hoops I picked him. Now I want to see him in Celtic even more. Why? He had a great season in France. He plays for Auxerre, scored 10 goals during his first season (just like legendary Juninho Pernambucano) and was placed on 5th place in the rank of best players by L'equipe magazine. Fans love him and want him to stay but it will be hard to do because he is on the wishlist of PSG, OM and Monaco. What is more he is proven in euro cups! We need a striker like him!
