    Agree with this. Always thought he was a very good player for us. Can't believe Boerrigter & Pukki have been suggested in here though, and the person was being serious as well.

    Came on against Aberdeen and scored with his first ever touch of the ball for Celtic, was a free kick.

    He scored against Barca, he also started the game if I remember right. Belter of a header as well.

    First player I thought of when I saw this thread was Hinkel. Glad other fans rate him as much as I do, quality player.

    Anyway... Glenn Loovens.

    Rarely played in a settled defence but when he did (especially during the end of his spell here, even scored in the title winning game at Killie!) he looked good. Always copped a lot of unfair stick imo.

    Barry Robson. Great player and won us the league a few seasons back with some great performances when he came in for Scott Brown who was either injured or suspended at the time.

    Bumping an 8 year old thread to say 100% Odsonne Edouard, the last season when we had zero tactical plan and he still had a great return, whilst being unhappy, is now the abiding memory amongst our fanbase.

    I’ve just watched some older games, and for 2 years he was untouchable. First season he was a promising great back up to Moussa. Moussa first season was peak, second season not so much then left after throwing tantrums, disrespectfully so.

    He’s the best for Celtic since Henrik, Sutton etc. overall.

    Moussa and Kyogo at their best are part of that argument but over his 4 years, it’s Eddy.
