scott brown unveiled on bank holiday monday

    David Friel
CELTIC Football Club is delighted to announce that new signing Scott Brown will be paraded at a special press conference at 11am on Monday, May 28, 2007.

The 21-year-old midfielder, one of the most exciting young talents in British football, agreed to join the SPL champions from Hibernian last week, in a record transfer between two Scottish clubs.

He bowed out of Easter Road with a goal against his new club in last weekend’s final SPL match of the season, and Celtic fans will now get the chance to see Brown talk about his move for the first time on Bank Holiday Monday.

In beating off interest from a host of top clubs, Celtic pulled off a major coup in landing Brown, who is rightly regarded the one of the best prospects to emerge in Scotland for many years.

Hoops boss Gordon Strachan has admitted that the Scotland star was always his No.1 summer transfer target, while Brown was delighted to complete his dream move to Celtic.

Following Saturday’s Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline, Celtic fans will only have to wait 48 hours to get a glimpse of new hero Brown – who will be unveiled at Paradise on Monday morning.

Visit www.celticfc.net for full coverage of Scott Brown’s unveiling.

He must get a game because McGeady is too predictable as he does the same thing all the time & hes also better than hartley
But i think if he plays down the middle he should have sno or Caldwell holding in the midfeild

I must say I am excited about us signing Scott Brown. I think he will do very well for us. It's great we have signed him early too so he is there right from the start of pre-season and is able to really fully settle in before next season gets underway.

He seems to be a decent midfield player. Is he some kind of "allrounder" like Stilian Petrov?

I sure think so. The lad can do it all. Pass, shoot, tackle, header, defend, attack. He's gonna be awsesome for us.

why do people think caldwell will do as a defensive mid? he is a centre back adn nothing else, he was crap at left back and would be a liability in midfield. strachan first has to drop hartley and then either give sno his chance besdie brown or get in another def mid
