I have zero opinion of them.

But what I would say is that the fortunes of their club have nothing to do with them. I think there is often a big of a reaction against fans when their team starts buying success but of course it has nothing to do with the supporters. And to my knowledge Man City were always getting a decent support, even in the third tier of English football. So while I can appreciate why football fans dislike Man City, and I was delighted to see them lose the FA Cup, I also dislike when all of a sudden people start slinging terms like "glory hunter" about, just because someone is lucky enough to support a successful team.

In any case, I couldnt care less about the Man City support.

I don't see how anyone could possibly hate their fans for what they've become. Most of their fans have stayed loyal to club through the dark ages when they were in the 1st and 2nd divisions back in the late 90's and are still loyal now.

I don't see why the fans should be blamed for the pathetic excuse of a club they've become.

I don't feel sorry for them though, certainly not, their success has came on the back of everything which is wrong with modern football.

I do have another reason why I don't like them and it comes from the old man really, maybe this is why I hate them greater these day with success * knows...

Celtic-rangers game gets called off must have been 70's,so there bus decides to go another game united-city are playing and a couple on the bus were pals with Martin Buchan the then united captain, when asked about getting in down there he said go to the city end and say your the true blues from falkirk and you'll be fine...
They get down there and one of my dads pals walks in celtic scarf out his pocket round his neck and he gets absolutely hammered by loads of them near the entrance,my dad and his pals gave him a kick so they didn't get sussed being with him :smiley-laughing002::52:...

Ever since I heard that story it's fair to say none of us like city

Before the takeover their real fans were alright but then all of a sudden they have all these new fans that came out of nowhere because of the money. Pathetic.

    Hate Mancini, love Yaya Toure.

Hate the money, liked them when they were underdogs. Now? I don't care. Find it hilarious when they get pumped in Europe.

Will probably like them if Pellegrini take's over; as I usually like his teams.

I like the older United fans I know or have met who are actually from Manchester and used to like them when they weren't very good. So I have absolutely no problem with standard City fans who used to support them when they were utterly *.

I don't like gloryseekers but I'm not gonna tar them all with the same brush.

Teams in the EPL, as long as their not Liverpool or Man United fans then I like them.

Feel a bit sorry for him, but you've got to take the rough with the smooth.

Loyalty to Mancini should be applauded, but they'll soon warm to Pellegrini.

I honestly have no idea, I don't get exposed to fans from ANY club over here except for the odd ones here and there. That said, *.

Exactly this. Going slightly off topic and onto United fans, it's always nice to see * getting a bit of a come uppance, in the home game a few years ago (1-1 I think they got a late equaliser?) about 1/2 hour before kick off I was walking around the back of the North Stand to get to my seat in the LL along with thousands of other Celts. I noticed two United fans walking in the same direction who were sporadically shouting out 'United' and genearlly letting it be known who they support. It dawned on me that they were walking towards the away entrances not realising that Celtic put up that big gate thing, which means away fans can't gain access to their turnstiles that way.
As the United fans got closer to where they thought they could get into the ground they started getting louder and hurling abuse , shouting 'Rangers' and '* *'. Then they got to the gate and realised they had to turn round and walk back through the Celtic fans they were trying to wind up :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

    I dont care about them.

I have never actually met one either, ive met fans from probably hundreds of teams but never a Man City fan, that I can remember anyway. Probably as they are confined to Manchester and the surrounding areas but then again even on holiday ive never met one or even seen one that I can recall.
