Who then would be indigenous to Alba? Historians are usually only as good as their last theory:icon_mrgreen:

Not familiar with Usconbuts and Canutluchamca, where is your source for these Pict Kings?

The origin of the Picts will continue to be a great source of puzzlement until evidence linking them to Caledonia before loss of the continental land bridge is found, some visiting academics believe the Picts to be indigenous to the area, though again ,this is only personal opinion.

Romans are thought to have named areas roughly as locally pronounced, so Caledonia is probably close to the true pronunciation. As is Calgacus the Swordsman.

Most People in the UK i'd say were Celtic in origin but the English culture is anglo-saxon/norman especially the further up you go in the social classes.

Religion as well. (CoE,CoS etc) culturally Norman/anlgo-saxon.

Read the early names were found on a Ogham inscriptions in Shetland some time ago. I may not be checking my facts thoroughly though. :) lol

I did higher History and Classical Studies during high school but didn't take it any further, though I still love reading about the Etruscans.
