My bet is he doesn't win. Griffiths or Mackay-Steven is going to win.

Griffiths will get it I'd reckon. Gotta love Wanyama, but just didn't do as much as Griffiths this season.

    Griffiths is probably the favourite.

Griffiths that couldn't get a game for Wolves or Wanyama who could play for anyone.

Griffiths couldn't get a game for Wolves because of a mixture of poor management and his own off-the-pitch problems.

It's an SPL award, and in the SPL, Griffiths has been the better player. However, I think Mackay-Steven should pip him to it. Would also like to have seen Commons nominated.

Griffiths deserves it imo, basically saved hibs from relegation last season but then continued this season to keep them in, without his goals i doubt they would of survived this season!

but i think wanyama would be right up his * in second, who else holds there own and has scored against barcelona

    young player mate!
would be very supprised if Commons doesnt win the scottish player of the year but, absolutely brilliant goal/assist record for a winger this season

He's not nominated for Player of the Year. No Celtic players are.

I'm starting to wonder the hype with wanyama. If you actually focus on him you can see his passing is quite bad and we lose possession a lot because of him.

He's absolutely fantastic. I think he has eased up in the run up of this season in fear of getting a bad injury, such are the risks involved in his style of play. There's no doubting his ability.

    Shocking!

sometimes i think this, the first half of the inverness game last week he was very poor imo, missed that sitter header and lost the ball many times, his performance in the second half made up for it and theres no doubting hes a great player after the european games!

    This. :50:

You may be able to screw up against caley but not Dortmund and the likes in Europe.

Griffiths couldn't get a game for Wolves because a) he has a * attitude and even wants to fight with his own fans and b) he wasn't good enough.

I strongly disagree. Wanyama has 10 goals as a holding midfielder and is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most complete midfielder in Scotland.

So celtic made it to the last 16 of the CL without one of the best 4 players in the SPL? :56:

It's an absolute joke to be fair :56: Hooper has been class in my opinion as have Commons, Wilson and Forster. How can a team win the league with 4 games to spare and not have 1 player nominated for POTY?
