Very good point. A lot of people on here turn into Mystic Meg when they look at potential signings for us. The amount of times I've heard "Oh we need a proven European talent, a player proven to play at the Champions League level". Nae danger, let's sign players for 8-10 million and give them 60 grand a week :smiley-laughing002:.

That is what it takes to get guys who are proven at that level, we have to take gambles on players, and we have done in the past and successfully as well.

On the subject of Boyd, it doesn't fill me with excitement but he does have talent, and he would do a shift for us I reckon, I'd take him as a bosman.

 

Would like to see him with us.

Well you have your opinion and I have mine,not Celtic class IMO and no better than Commons need someone to really push Commons in his position,Boyd isn't that player and a lot of the players you've mentioned have already proved themselves in the premiership Boyd has not

 

I'm sick of hearing that we need someone that can do it in the Champions League! I'm pretty sure that out of all Neil Lennon's signings, Lustig had Champions League experience, and Kayal had played in it, not experienced though. It's the same argument over Russell, the amount of times i've heard, "he won't do the business in Europe" is unbelievable. One of our best players this year was Forster. Funny enough, he had no Champions League experience either.

 

I think I'd rather have the other Boyd.

Why would we go for him when we have Commons, McGeouch, Rogic and Twardzik that can all play in this position?

If we were to sign players in the transfer window and especially in this position, I'd like them to be better than what we've already got. Can't say I've seen much of Boyd, is he that guy?

 

Please no,hope this isn't the kind of players we've got lined up for the summer,would much rather we played mcgeough than spend big wages on a one paced,one footed decent championship player

 

And Of course rogic who should be looking to cement a place for next season

 

Decent player but don't want him.

Rogic is a similar type of player and I'd much rather see him play.

 

na not for me good player in the championship mind you he would walk it in the SPL

 

I like boyd but much rather we gave mcgeough and rogic a chance in that type of role
