Easily wanyama against dundee, that technique is just unbelievable.

 

matthews goal against kilmarnock was fantastic I thought, don't hit a ball better than that.

 

If it's just about the actual goal, not it's significance or anything then Watt's shouldn't be on the list.

Watt's composure is incredible, he takes his goal so well.

But the passing build up to the Matthews cross and the Samaras finish is tasty. Cracking bits of skill by quite a few players there.

 

Watt for me. I normally base these on the quality of the goal rather than the circumstances, but the feeling when that goal went in, the sheer joy and exuberance, is something that will live with me for ever. What a moment.

The best goal, technically, though is either Hooper's gorgeous lob at Dundee or Wanyama's belter at home against, again, poor old Dundee.

Samaras vs Kilmarnock

 

Was hard to pick between the Samaras v Aberdeen one and Watt v Barcelona. In the end I chose the Samaras one because of it being an important league match (although ALL the games in the CL were important), the way it was scored and it being practically the last kick of the match.

 

Voted Wanyama vs St Mirren (goal 2) myself because I believe it was the best strike, but of course, the goals from Watt and Samaras were also genius in different ways.

Watt's goal was a rather simple finish, but the occasion is what makes it special. The finish itself from Samaras was easy, but it was the build up to it that made it special.

 

It's Tony Whaaaaaaa's goal for me.
