    Ah well.

    Exciting times, eh?

Sold Hooper and Wanyama! Oh, surely some cracking players will be bought with the profit.

Naw! Cheap * as usual from Celtic.

Wolves are in League One??? Good grief. They should be delighted to get 500k.

I was so optimistic before this bid, if we sign him and Lowry there will be * to pay.

Unfortunately a lot of fans will be content with that.

I will be absolutely raging. I might even ask for a refund on my season ticket. I'm not a glory hunter, but I'd like to know where all this money is going?

We've raked in millions upon millions and we're going for a Millwall player and a Wolves reject :97:

I've never really questioned it before, but I am genuinely stumped at what Celtic are doing with this money. The usual answer seems to be "running costs" - we were able to run Celtic quite well without the money from the Champions League and the sale of our two best players.

We need a goal scorer, so why are we looking at someone who is not a goal scorer?

If that is true, and they ARE in fact looking for that amount of money, then i'm delighted as surely to * we winna pay that.

:56: Doyle is alright, 500k would be good business. He wouldn't be Hooper's replacement.

We're reported to be signing Derk Boerigter also, as well as previously signing Virgil, and Balde, and unpronounceable Myoluolouko - what are you on about?

He would command 15-20k a week in wages why not * him off pay a bit extra for real quality and use the extra wages to get a real goal scorer in that we need more than anything!

We can afford to do both & i reckon we will. An improvement on Lassad/Miku for back-up striker no?

Boerigter for £1.8 million - cheap option.

Baldé £1.8 million - cheap option.

    Mouyokolo free - cheap option.

If you seriously believe that is acceptable after the sales of that kind of players and Champions League revenue then I fear for this club.

Guys like Finnbogason are available for £4.3 million (€5 million) yet we go for a striker that's scoring record is probably on par with a centre backs.

The 5 million from hoopers sale should be used to buy a striker of the same quality the * lot not 500k or 2 million.

The biscuit tin is alive and well it seems

Boerigter for £1.8 million and injury prone it seems

Balde for £1.8 million that looks as good as bangura

Mouyokolo free and had played 8 games in 3 years before coming here, injured more than maloney and rogne combined.

we should be very happy with quality of player :smiley-laughing002:

jon daly would have been a better option than balde

27 goals in 135 appearances for Wolves. Hardly prolific. Usual Celtic. Rake in the dough and tighten the purse strings. :38:

You've ignored my question and came back with some patronising crap.

Do you think it's ok the level of personal abuse he is getting because some people don't want him to play for Celtic? Yes or no?

Daryl Murphy took the same amount of abuse before he signed, after he signed and when he left, no his fault we signed him, everyone knew he was pish.

Neil Lennon is the guy making the desisions on wasting money on guys we know are donkeys, we missed the boat with russell and * knows why, id sign goodwillie before id even consider doyle
