    Leeds had already approached him and he knocked it back. Not to mention that anytime another club generally looks at someone we're interested in, we lose out.

    Doyle won't be a replacement for Hooper. Lennon said he's looking for a Hooper style player, even in Hoops stayed. If we got Doyle (in the name of science please no) we would still go for another striker.

    I think replacing Hooper was always going to be hard. I think Doyle can hold the ball up as well as Hooper can and I think that Doyle is far better in the air than Hooper. Hooper is better on the deck and probably links up better with the players around him. So both bring different things to the team but I reckon that Doyle could score just as many as Hooper for sure.
