I`ll be awkward say a bit of both. I was taken to a couple of Celtic games but also attended some games at Kilmarnock (pitch invaded the day Kilmarnock got promoted from the 1st Division) and Ayr Utd.

Inherited the team. My dad and grandad are fans and took me from when I was a youngster. Never considered supporting anyone else

For me,I suppose it's tradition, passed down through the generations.I think especially if your family has a Catholic background/Irish roots that tends to be the case. I have the odd friend who support the Hoops that are not Catholic/Irish background but they are the black sheep in their families, for them supporting Celtic wasn't passed down, it was all about the football and the genuine magic of this great club.

Inherited it too, my dad took me to my first game when I was a couple of months old, a derby against the huns. He also took me to an away game at Aberdeen when I was only months old, so ive been going to games before i could even walk.

I would say most fans that where born in or around Glasgow would inherit it. Because of the strong links with politics/religion, you're most likely going to be one or the other. I inherited my connection with Celtic and im proud of it.

Choose it. My dads a queens park fan and rather the huns over us. When I was a kid I was good mates with Celtic Player son and liked them before then but that basically concreted (is that a word or term?) my support for Celtic.

Quite interesting...my Granddad was 'raised' a rangers fan but choose Celtic as a teenager..he tells me at that point he was the only Celtic fan in his family and by the time I was born everyone in my family supported Celtic.

Aye we beat the huns 3-0 :icon_mrgreen: the Aberdeen one wasnt we got beat 1-0 though. They were the games on the 24th of March 1991 and the 6th of April 1991.

There is a photo of him holding me at the game and im wrapped up in a white shall with a scarf wrapped round me, not seen it in years though think its in my grannys.
