Apart from the result Seville was * magic, love hearing peoples seville stories and seeing pics etc etc TGFITW in full swing, even if i knew the result was gonna turn out the same i'd go out of my way to make sure i was there. The only thing that annoys me about seville is the that the club have not progressed since then we reached a milestone that sesaon (even though we won * all) and everyone knew it except the board.

Wouldn't be to pushed on watching the game itself again but IMO it was a magic season and i hope we have another one like it sooner rather than later with a few trophies to boot.

Yeah Dubs, if the board would have added even just two quality players on the back of the millions they got for the final, we would have qualified I think for the group stages of the CL the following year.

But that is way in the past and now we seem to be having to get into a position of rebuilding half a team rather than the odd player.

I am really worried about the next two seasons as the legs are already going on some of the guys MON has resigned.

The worst one was Vitor Baia, the goalkeeper, remember he went down without being touched, and lay on the deck for about 3-4 minutes. I remember even Larsson went over to him and was roaring at him to get up. I don't think that Lubos Mikel who was the ref had a very good game either, he gave just about every decision to Porto, and didn't even book that Baia for what was blatant play acting. If I remember correctly, didn't their bench or ball boys also try to keep the ball out of play at one point ?

Being in Seville followed by being at Rugby Park a few days later and seeing the Celts loose a Euro cup final in extra time and then the league on goal difference easy ranks as one of the most emotional weeks of my life. I was alway passionate about my football but until that week never truely realised how much.

But I was proud to be a Celt throughout, and the experience of Seville is still one of the best experiences of my life and in the end it only made me realise how much I love our team.

But f*ck me, it was a traumatic week. The memory of it will make tomorrow all the sweeter when we're crowned Championees tomorrow.

  8. To be quite honest I thought we did great to actually get down to the last day. Remember we lost 2-1 to Hearts and thought it was all over. Think we went 9 or 10 points behind and still managed to pull back. We lost by goals for and Rangers had scored a penalty on the last minute to win the title. Yes, it does annoy me because we should be looking at our 5th title in a row now. I don't think Rangers deserved to win any of their teble that season and Billy who lives next door to my dad even admitted that he thought that was the worst Rangers team to win the league never mind the treble. We were very unlucky that we didn't win anything that season, but I think it's time we started looking forward instead of back. Yes, I always wonder, 'What if' but that's 2 years ago now.

Being in the Stadium and seeing it 3/4 green and white, and watching the team come out before kick-off was one of the greatest moments of my life, although we were eventually beaten, by a better team, their gamesmanship was shocking, and I will always hate Deco and Derlei!!! The saddest thing for me was seeing Henrik interviewed after the match, if anyone deserved a winner's medal it was him. Rugby park was tough too, especially the gloating phone-calls I got on my way out of the stadium, but although we never won anything that season, it was still one of the best season's at CP that I've had, remember " you'll never walk alone" before the Liverpool game,Blackburns "men against boys", and the slow motion goal scored by Henrik in Boavista? It's hard to watch, but getting to the final and being there are stories I will tell with pride for the rest of my life!!!

I agree with you on the Douglas point. He never done his part of the bargian. But we have been let down so many times over the past few years by goalies that we become immune to the *.
