i think he would complement our defence if he was played as a defensive midfielder. hes got composure can pass can tackle and is quick. he could alternate with our 2 center halfs. or drop to a back 3 pushing the full backs up.
potential is there

 

The guy is a liability or gave you got dementia??? Also he sold himself for there goal!!! Ok there were other issues with it but if he did not dive in and get rolled the Hearts player would not have got turned. He has a big mistake ever game he plays and sometimes he gets away with it but more often than not he doesn't, like today. He can get in the same taxi as Ronnie.

Got sucked in & turned too easily for their goal which is glossed over because we won. The guy is & will always be a liability. Don't kid yourself.

Had a few dodgy moments.

Things like chasing after a lost cause and leaving a gaping hole through the centre, is * stuff.

There was another moment where he was man marking and he followed the boy and ended up directly in front of Sviatchenko, leaving the two centre halfs in the same position, and acres of space where he should of been.

That said, he's a fantastic athlete - His spring off the ground is second to none and he wins most balls in the air.

Would like to see him play the holding role a few times during pre-season or even in the next few games.

 

Holding midfield player!!! Are people on here having a laugh the guy has zero positional sense, can't pass, really poor first touch, can't tackle need I go on. Just do us all a favour and get rid.

I reckon we could get a decent fee if we shipped him to a Chinese team.

Tell them he's played in the last 16 of the UCL, he's played 100+ games for us, won multiple league titles, he's won the African Cup of Nations, he's played at the world cup. Looks good on paper.

Just don't tell them he's a liability and that he has single handedly cost us games on more than one occasion. Also, leave out the fact he's not very good at football.
