I've always liked the guy and accepted that to play the way he does, you will make costly mistakes from time to time. We all know that in the league that's ok. In Europe it's not ok but on the other hand his running of the ball out of defence often eases pressure on us, so you've got to look at both sides.

However, what we had from Ambrose last night was a complete and utter lack of effort. Not a bad game, he blatantly wasn't even trying on a number of occasions. I said in the match thread last night that I hope he never plays for us again and I stand by that this morning. The whole team was terrible but he was disgraceful last night.

Also on the topic of him or Denayer. Yes Denayer had been doing well but you can't really blame Ronny for thinking the guy who'd been there and done it before, an African Cup of Nations winner, a World Cup player would provide that added experience. He let everyone down.

Ronnie stating him right full back was strange, ambrose kept getting caught dragged into the centre half position leaving massive space down the left side. I have given up on him, he is just not good enough.

I can't believe he wasn't trying. In a league game I'd be shocked but in a CL qualifier I just don't buy it. I really think the guy is just plain exhausted. Because of international duty I believe he hasn't had a single rest since we bought him and he's bound to be physically and mentally exhausted.

Whats even more annoying is that the guy think he oozes class with all his "dare to efe' * and maradona dribbles in our own penaltybox

Sorry but even when rested he is not good enough, no ability. Sell or give away whatever is easiest just never let him pull the Hoops on ever again.

    Toatally!!

I didnt have a clue of the formation watching and it was because Efe kept drifting into centre....wasnt sure if it was 4-2-3-1 or 3-6-1; certainly didnt look like a 4-3-3 to me!

He hadnt a clue what to do last night and think he mentally imploded..

Why do you say that? He's had some brilliant games for us, including against CL opposition. Mainly in his first season. Even the infamous Juve game it can be argued he was tired from the ACON.

He does have that weakness with high balls and always has but that doesn't make him *.

Allowing mediocre players to walk past him like he was a ghost makes him a bad player. He calls himself a defender and can't do the basics.Could have cost us 3 or 4 goals last night.Sick of this fraud !

My take on him - can't pass, no positional sense as witnessed last night again, can't header the ball, poor in the tackle. Gets away with it sometimes in the SPFL but not good enough and needs to go. I crap myself every time he tries to dribble the ball from the back, sorry but my opinion is he is an accident waiting to happen against any opposition. However the fact he got a jersey last night was not his fault but lets hope it is his last.
