    This is happening all the time I would say, its just getting exposed more now. People made Italy out to be the main bad guys in it all but there is a very good chance it is happening in every major league. Italy just made a good job of exposing it and are clamping down on it. FIFA and UEFA will want this information hidden, it does them absolutely no good with this news in the public

    Love the blase attitude that it doesn`t happen in Scottish Football. It occurs all around the world and not hear. Not just football but many other sports, Boxing is a sport I`m highly suspicious about.

    I think the ref in the Chelsea game was just *. He also sent Abidal off at the start of the second half which I doubt he would have done had he taken a bung.

    I doubt it will be such a high profile game if anything is proven i think it is far more likely to involve one of the "dead rubber" games in the group stage when one team is already out not a semi final. Could be wrong though.

    That is one of the most likely ones mate.

    I just watched a highlights package of the game on YouTube and even though it's the Chelsea scum, the amount of penalty appeals they have turned down is out of order. Definitely something dodgy happening that night.

    That wouldn't surprise me. Those are the sort of games i was thinking of one where an eastern european team gets beat. There was also one a couple of years ago where Lyon had to win by 8 or something and did.

    That was Lyon away at Dinamo Zagreb.
    Dinamo's owner is infamous for being corrupt (along with being an *), he basically runs the croatian FA.

    Not surprised the game is corrupt. Only have to look at the governing bodys, FIFA/Uefa to see that.

    Bang. That's the one that I came in here to post about. Last game of the group stages last year, Lyon were 7 behind Ajax on goal difference. Dinamo laid down, Ajax went out. Bafetimbi Gomis scored a second-half hat-trick in seven minutes - the fastest in the competition’s history. Dinamo had a man sent off. And then there was the 'wink' from Domagoj Vida when Lopez scored. Ajax had two goals disallowed in their 3-0 defeat by Real Madrid on the same night. Soft, soft goals as well. May have been perfectly fair but it seemed quite dodgy to me at the time.
