Bit sorry he went to Derby and not Catania tbh. Italy would have been better for his game.

Maybe in the future we'll lure him back to Scotland if he succeeds in England, providing his price doesn't sky rocket.

    Good luck Johnny! :shamrock:

Would have been a good signing, but glad we won't have to hear people obsessing over him now.

Shame we weren't interested, I really think for 750k we should've gone for it.

On to the next one though, if we start the season with Hooper, Stokes, Balde and Watt then imo we're at least as strong as we were last season.

what a * slap in the face fletcher senario all over again! unless lennon has somebody better in mind and gets him then fair enough.... but at 750 k and paying for a guy we dont even know will be like or how he will cope here is really unreal !

This could either go two ways he could be another fletcher and then we have no chance of getting him or end up like stokes and struggle in England and find him self at here at some point good luck to him still raging we never even put in a bid

I don't get the big deal about Fletcher. So he scored a few goals for Sunderland - big * deal? :smiley-laughing002:

He's a good player and he would challenge for our first team - again, so what? We hardly missed out on signing a young Messi.

At £3m he would've been a very expensive buy for us. We got Hooper instead who is the better player.

If he does well he'll be out of our price range. And if he's average/* I doubt we'll be interested seeing as we turned our nose up to him coming off the back of a 20 goal season.
