My phone is doing my nut in. It is a Samsung Galaxy Ace and all of a sudden for the past couple of days it has started not taking text messages and saying my memory is full which is a load of * because I deleted all the message threads and most of my apps and it is still doing it!! Does anyone know how to sort this out?

How much memory does it say you have ? I get this problem when my apps need updating, it won't let me due to insufficient memory. Really need to get a memory card and move all the apps to that.

Also you should download easy cache cleaner if you don't already have it. I have to run it a few times a day or things don't load etc.

I just tried downloading that easy cache cleaner and it says I don't have enough memory despite the fact I've deleted just about everything and have a memory card!!!

I deleted my GMail and that seems to have done the trick! Keep it in mind if anyone else ever gets this problem.

The issue with some of the entry level smartphones is that they don't have much memory asigned for apps etc. The majority of them cannot be moved onto your memory card either.

Best thing to do is as mentioned keep cache cleared and delete any apps you don't use any more.
