I applied for a ticket through Thomas Cook and was told I was unsuccessful but that a small number of tickets may be available from the club and that I should contact the Ticket Office directly. Not sure who they're available to though.

I'm guessing that Cooks flight is fully booked and Celtic may still have tickets available to ST's but as has been said probably to the category A, B, C holders. That said does you no harm in asking the TO directly if they have any. I'd also guess that they'd want proof you have flights booked.

They will be meaning that tickets may become available if tickets are left over after the deadline for those entitled to one just now has passed.

If this is the case then I hope Celtic don’t just make them first come first served for season ticket holders.

That's generally what they do for european away games. a certain percentage will go to Thomascook, some go to corporate (i.e. guys that have never been to Parkhead yet have the money to make sure they get a ticket) then the rest get balloted.

The balloted people will then get a cut off date of when they can get their tickets, in this case monday 11th feb, and then, if there are any left, a general sale to season ticket holders will get the opportunity to snap up the tickets that weren't taken!!

It should be different when tickets are as tight as they are and there is still time available.

not sure what other way that they could go about doing it to be fair!!

people who have attended the most euro away games get the priority and have a deadline in which to get their tickets, after that its down to the rest of the season ticket holders that have made their own travel arrangements instead of being ripped of by thomascook for a day trip!!

There are category C people who have not been given a ticket. If any tickets are left, then fairest way would be to make these first come first served for remaining category C’s, then remaining category D’s etc.

Funny that a Greek is a Torino FC fan lolz ;D but still great info for the celtic fans.
He's right about the fact that prolly none will give a * if you wander around the city with shirts and so on as long as you're polite to the local team.

For those looking at tickets in Turin there are two ways :
    1) Listicket.it official juventus ticket reseller (you register and usually check few days before the match) or go to
    2)http://www.viagogo.it/Biglietti-Spo...4?affiliateID=958&PCID=AFFITIAFF9584267619075
tough they don't sell for official prices but for whatever each user want to sell his ticket. But at least you can rest assured! you either get the ticket or refund (via paypal)

That's your last chance to get a ticket (not in the guest zone) so there i suggest to avoid buying or trying to buy (anyway all of it will go to season ticket holders) in Curva Sud where all juventus ultras are gathered and going there alone or in group means problems.
I suggest Tribuna laterale est and afaik some sectors are reserved for Champions League stuff or so.

    to get there... it's easy.
from the station Porta Nuova you should get on the 72 and it will lead there directly infront of the stadium.

I think I'm category B and didn't get a letter. I"m half glad though as I can't afford it and would have gotten myself in to some debt if I did get the offer.

Save myself for the 1/4 finals!

Do not listen to this poor boy.

Turin is a quiet and peaceful are your fans.

This guy is saying false things about our fans.

In Italy the only stadium without barriers is precisely our Juventus Stadium.

    All the others are not.

    Hello everybody men..

I'm a Juventus supporter from Rome...
I almost read all the pages of this topic and other related the game.
Well...one thing i don't unerstand: why many of you are afraid to follow the Celtic here in Turin on March 6?
You should know that Turin city and its people are among the most peaceful of Italy, for us Italians Turin is a city very calm, just because people are distant, quiet.
The players, for example, can turn easily to the city center, without any problems, which is not possible in the cities of central Italy and southern Europe. Same thing for the fans of opposing teams, especially in Europe. What already happened for teams Chelsea and Shakhtar Donetsk, the two teams were staying in a hotel downtown, the players on the day before the game could stroll to the city center and many Juventus fans have photos with the most important players of both Chelsea Shakhtar ...
There are photos on the web with opponent players (Chelsea e Shakhtar) and juventus supporters in front Front of the "Principi di Piemonte Hotel" which almost always is the choice by visiting teams in Turin.
All this applies to all of northern Italy.
While all that I told you before, it changes almost entirely in the central-south Italy, where the warmth of the people is much greater, the very different mentality, as well as lifestyles. Where I live, for example, players can not be seen in the center ... would be assaulted by a crowd of fans between autographs and photos ecc..

Well, I wanted to tell you, Torino is a very quiet town, for sure you will have no problem.

    Thanks for the information guys.

Unfortunately I haven't been lucky enough to get a ticket, so what is the name of the stand the Ultras are in so I can avoid it? Do you guys think it will be okay to sit in the Juventus side of the stadium? Is there any specific sections that would be safer?

Also I have heard a few different comments about how the drinking ban will be enforced this time? Some say it is strict, others say many pubs will still be open?

And do you recommend any cheap hotels in Turin for 5 men? Still haven't booked one yet. We are arriving on the 3rd March

    Where is everyone else staying?

By our recent standards, we will be taking a decent traveling support with us for a game where tickets will likely be scarce. The usual charter planes, independent travelers, European based support from various other clubs and the reemergence of buses going to European aways continues as we will have at least 5 going this way. It is a bit embarrassing if people are saying they are too afraid to go to Turin. There is some apprehension about the place but this is down to how previous visits, albeit the last one in 2001, and how Celtic fans were treated by Juventus fans and the police. Can't wait, been counting down the days for weeks now!

It was the last two visits so you can't really blame us for being a little apprehensive, mate.

    1) The tickets you should avoid are in CURVA SUD 1° Anello or CURVA SUD 2° Anello. I suggest you the TRIBUNA LATERLE EST (any of those) or TRIBUNA LATERALE OVEST if you're really desperate for a ticket you can also try to get a ticket in CURVA NORD and then sit closer to guest zones.

    2) About driking ban it's probably that bars or so hearing you speaking english or so will follow some rules and won't sell you boze or drinks but i bet that if you go in little markets (there are plenty) you will be able to buy without problems. Remember you can't bring any boze into the stadium so if they find something on you it will be thrown away as trash.
Just avoid the middle town for drinks or so. and as the greek user said go to the english pubs he mentioned i bet they will sell beer or whatever you want!

    3) for hotels and so on i suggest this http://www.expedia.it/Torino-Hotel.d6054998.Guida-Viaggi-Hotel there are hotels for every price! if you don't understand something let me know or i can search for you something in this website if you tell me how much you want to spend.
Else another good website should be : http://www.tripadvisor.it/Tourism-g187855-Turin_Province_of_Turin_Piedmont-Vacations.html

which has a great feedback system so you can read feedback before booking or so.

looks good and cheap and there are no fees to pay if you unbook later.
And Diplomatic isn't so bad! it's really close to the station and not too far from Piazza Castello or Statuto!

You should hurry only 5 rooms left XD

i think there will be a good number of fans going over maybe 4-5 thousand with on 2000 actually having tickets!! unfortunately i'm one of the ones without a ticket but hey, still 4 days in Turin to enjoy with the bhoys just need to try and find somewhere that will be showing the game now!

3 weeks on monday till i fly out, cant wait!!

have they always had this "law" that states that your name and date of birth is one your ticket in Italy?!
crazy thing, means that you cant even buy someones ticket over there cos it will have someone else's name etc on the ticket!!!

ill still risk it tho if the oppertunity comes up!! ;-)
