So because we got beat today that automatically makes the OP's opinion a reaction to the defeat?

Zaluska has been poor the last couple of games and was poor again today, he didn't look convincing against either Hearts or Dundee United and failed to do even the basics right at times today.

It's a valid point and just because we got beat today doesn't mean these points can't be raised.

Stop talking * - the OP has posted his opinion (which so far after today's performance).

Unless he - or someone else - says they blame Zaluska solely for today's defeat, then put your megaphone away.

Zaluska was definately let down by his defense but his positioning for both goals was shocking should be saving both of them but pretty much the whole team was poor today just hope Forster is back soon!

 

Zaluska is mediocre at best. He's a bag of nerves and anyone who posits the "he's happy to sit on the bench" argument as a reason for keeping him around should have a word with themselves. That lack of determination or ambition wouldn't be tolerated in any other position, nor should it be the case with the goalkeeper. We should have another keeper who, even if he lacks FF's ability, at least has the desire to try and dislodge him.

If, as it appears, that Zaluska has neither the attitude nor the ability to challenge for a first team berth then he should be shown the door.

 

Im not saying hes a good keeper, its just funny how straight after their third goal this thread pops up "zaluska is *".

 

He is not good enough to be Celtic number 2 .

 

I personally have never felt comfortable with him guarding our goal. Mediocre might be a bit harsh, but he is nowhere near the standard of Forster.

He doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. I can think of two separate occasions right away where he could have caught the ball comfortably, but instead elected to beat it away and almost presented Thompson with a chance to score on one of those occasions.

 

How many seconds after the third goal did this thread appear?

 

His positioning for the 3rd was very poor, thomson's shot was pretty much straight down the middle of goals.

 

Ive disliked him from the start. Many poor games 4-0 St Mirren, 3-0 Braga etc
