    Bull *!!! I know anyone who buys a ticket deserves to win it but i would much rather see it going to an average joe who doesnt have much money and not someone who is more than likely on about 70k a week.

    It's a fair enough statement. Grand sum like that is something that will be surplus to requirements for a Prem footballer. Rich with it, rich without it. Send it on it's way to Great Ormond Street and change some lives.

    I get your point but just because he's possibly on a substantial wage, that shouldn't mean he is expected to donate any extra money that comes his way.

    At least he will know how to spend it ,nothing * me off more thsn hearing of some wee farmer guying winning and all he intends to buy is a toyota yaris and a new kettle

    He's not obliged to give it to charity obviously, but I would if I were in his position, and that is not a word of a lie. He makes thousands of pounds a week as it is.
