Under normal circumstances I would support this however as a father of a daughter who has just recently passed her test I would rather the inequality continued.

To be fair to them though, I've never heard a story about two burds racing back to college causing one of them to wrap a Citreon Saxo round a 20's plenty pole at 70mph :56:

The average woman driver is better than the average man.
We men can wish all we want, but this is a fact.

First you say I'm talking *. Then you back me up in the very next sentence without realising it.
Yes. Young male drivers who cause crashes are the main reason women paid less than men for insurance.
The driving stats of these boy racers go a long way to making up the 'average' male and female drivers.
Less accidents -------> safer -------> better.

Also I notice that women drivers aren't as considerate as men, they very rarely let you out etc.

    I agree with that.
For instance, I don't think there will be many women grand Prix winners. But for the normal every day driving they are safer, and that must mean better.

Not in particular, woman in my experience gave the biggest tendency to bump into stationary objects.

Yeah but men are involved in more accidents, according to statistics anyway. I think an argument could be made in both cases in regards to what * is the better driver.

Depends on what you mean by accidents really, is bumping into a parked car at Tesco an accident?

Anything that you claim insurance for I'd imagine, so yes I'd say it was. More men are involved in killed on roads which suggests they're also involved in more high speed crashes, either way men cause more accidents.

Fact - woman are safer drivers, far less high cost crashes and deaths.
They didn't want to reduce the cost of the males policies, so the just brought the womans cost up to instead.

    I'm not picky.
It's only equality if it suits them :icon_mrgreen:

If it's a fact that women are safer drivers then why would insurance companies raise the premiums at all for them? Just to purely bring them inline with male premiums? I know in general the insurance companies are greedy *, but you're supposed to get rewarded for being a good driver no matter who you are, so if women are - in general - better drivers then surely their premiums should stay lower.

The majority of women drivers I've seen here are lethal. Speeding where-ever they go, cutting you off, undertaking and overtaking, driving while texting/on the phone, and even putting their make-up on while driving.

Women may still be classed as the "safer drivers" but not for much longer according to the way things are going and with their insurance premiums going up :icon_mrgreen:
