I'm actually moving back home to Glasgow this Sunday. I'm looking forward seeing my parents. Xmas gets annoying for me, not a big fan.

Anyway at least I can enjoy a few cans of Tennents beer over xmas.

I don't hate Christmas, I just hate not having someone special to share it with.

It's the build up to Christmas that I can't stand. Especially working in a shop. Mutant, * customers that don't think about anything but themselves. (like that all year round but Christmas they just go insane.)

But once it hits Christmas eve, I go out, get my drink on and enjoy my Christmas morning hangover in bed till 12-1. Get up, wee nibble then presents with the nephew. Then it's time to get back on it. Pretty quiet at Christmas these days, not that big a deal now but I like to just relax and get pished.

I just hate the over commercialization of the Holliday season. This year it really * me off with the super early Black Friday sales.

    Hate it!

Roll on january. I'm going to Lanzarote on the 4th with one of the girls.

Get it right up ye christmas! I'll be spending christmas day in bed, in my mothers box room, hopefully watching series 1 of CSI New York (I started downloading it last Tuesday, and its only at 47%!!) In fact, I should start downloading the other ones too. Back at work on Thursday, Friday and Hogmaney, then off til 14th, when I have a meeting in Preston, so wont actually be back in the office until 15th January.

If I come back. Might just stay in Lanzarote. * all here for me :) Anybody fancy taking over the finance on a C1 :smiley-laughing002:

I have no idea yet :smiley-laughing002: my pal randomly text me last night asking me to go! She looked online and seen a deal £200 for a week in a 4 star hotel through icelolly, but I dont know where exactly in Lanzarote. Think we're going to go to Barrhead travel this weekend and see what we can see, or that one will be getting booked!

    Wish it was over.

I hate this time of year because of my separated and awkward parents. I'm 27 but i feel like a kid they try to score brownie point off during this time of year.
I managed to wriggle myself out of any Xmas dinner plans with either of them. Meeting up with my dad at night then my mum on boxing day. uuuugh!

Love Christmas but as I work in a supermarket it's a nightmare!!
Customers who have been sound all year suddenly become angry, snotty *.
I understand that you'd be a bit gutted about there not being anymore tins of * roses until tomorrow but there's no need to take a fit in the middle of a store.i get some really nasty things said to me,as we all do but we aren't the ones who've done the orders!!
Had a woman today who wanted 28 of those dairy milk boxes that you give kids and she went ape * because we only had 17.started shouting "you lot are a * joke" as she stormed out...whopper

Can't be easy doing that at this time of year. People can panic over small things like chocolates as you have said despite the fact there are hundreds of places they could buy them if there is not enough. This is why I hate getting gifts at this time as some people turn into dicks by barging in front of you for example.
