Stephen Appiah, but with a very good striker as well.

Strachan has stated that he will bring in 3 big-names in the summer to bolster the squad so i'm actually very optimistic right now fellow tims.

bellamy would be a really good signing for us again. we all seen what he did when he was here the last time and would be more than happy to see him back.

 

craig bellamy is a cut above everyone else on that list. unfortunately hel also be the hardest and most expensive to get, but what a signin that would be

 

Stephen Appiah would be an outstanding signing.

He is 26 years old and the current captain of Ghana (ahead of Michael Essien) and is described as even stronger than him!

Appiah has won Serie A with Juventus before moving on to Turkey.

In turkey, he won the Player of the Year last season and was also runner up to Essien as Ghanian Player of the Year. He was named in the top eleven players in 2004 Olympics and the African Nations cup in 2006.

This season, he has scored 10 goals (I think) with a fair few assists. He's a box to box powerhouse and would run riot in Scotland, but I doubt he would come here.

All in all, I think he's the kind of quality we need.

Joey Barton is too much of a liability imo! He would just cause un-rest in the dressing room with his shennanigans
